When Customer Systems Are on Fire, We Act Fast

When customer systems are on fire, we act like firefighters—quickly, methodically, and solution-oriented. But what happens when there’s a real fire in our own company?

– but what if there’s a real fire?

When customer systems are on fire, we act like firefighters—quickly, methodically, and solution-oriented. But what happens when there’s a real fire in our own company?

This is exactly the question we asked ourselves. The answer: Preparation is everything.

Fire protection is not a side issue

In many companies, fire protection is still underestimated. Yet the risks are real in everyday life—especially in technology-driven environments with constantly running infrastructure.

For us, it’s clear: Security doesn’t end with firewalls and backups. It begins on-site—with people, processes, and the right reaction in an emergency.

Training with a real-world focus

That’s why our team completed a fire protection assistant training—with a clear goal: to act, not hesitate, in an emergency.

Besides the theoretical foundations, the focus was deliberately on practical exercises:

  • Using fire extinguishers under realistic conditions
  • Assessing dangerous situations
  • Correct behavior during alarms and evacuations

This practical approach makes the difference. In an emergency, theory doesn’t count—routine does.

Responsibility anchored in the team

An important step for us: With David Hussain, we now have a certified fire protection assistant in the company.

He will play a central role in:

  • Supporting in emergencies
  • Raising team awareness
  • Further developing our safety measures

This way, we anchor responsibility not only structurally but also culturally within the company.

Strong partner by our side

The training was conducted by Dinger Brandschutzservice, an experienced provider in preventive fire protection. Their range of services includes everything from consulting and evacuation concepts to practical training and long-term support as an external fire protection officer.

For us, a crucial factor: Competence, practical relevance, and a clear external perspective.

Conclusion: Safety requires awareness—and practice

The training showed us how quickly a seemingly minor issue can become a critical factor. It’s all the more important to be prepared.

In other words: When it matters, we don’t just want to react—we want to know what to do.
