Platform nameservers
Fixed ayedo nameservers (ns1/ns2/ns3.ayedo.cloud) for delegation at an external registrar or in a parent zone ayedo does not manage.
The platform's authoritative nameservers are fixed. They apply to domains not registered with ayedo and to subzones whose parent zone ayedo does not manage. A DNS zone in Polycrate has no nameserver fields of its own.
Hostnames
| Nameserver |
|---|
ns1.ayedo.cloud |
ns2.ayedo.cloud |
ns3.ayedo.cloud |
Set all three. Values come from platform configuration; this page is the public expected set.
When you must delegate
- Apex (
example.com): point NS at the registrar to these three hostnames. - Subzone (
app.example.com): add three NS records in the parent zone to the same hostnames. - Domain registered with ayedo: Polycrate sets delegation at the registrar.
- Parent zone in Polycrate (
kind=internal): the API writes NS/DS into the parent (ns_delegation_synced).
Load Balancer v2 (HTTPS/WAF) requires hostnames in an ayedo-managed zone. Without delegation, ACME DNS-01 stalls.
