Three Weeks at ayedo – My Internship in the Brand Team

I spent three weeks at ayedo – and honestly: The internship was much better than I had imagined. I didn’t just watch; I actively participated. From day one, I was part of the Brand Team, the area at ayedo responsible for all things creative – from social media posts to video productions.

What surprised me: I was taken seriously. I was allowed to contribute my own ideas, help shape content, and was directly involved in the action.

My tasks were quite varied. I edited videos, helped with Instagram and TikTok shoots, and prepared posts for various channels. I learned how much planning and effort goes into a good post – and how much fun it can be when you’re allowed to work creatively and the team trusts you.

A real highlight was my own episode of the internal ayedo format “B-Team.” It’s a kind of comedy series in the style of The Office or Stromberg – and I was the main character. It was not only super funny but also a real experience to be in front of the camera and part of a well-planned production. I never thought I would get so much of my own spotlight as an intern.

Another special moment was our trip to Saarbrücken. There, I got to spray an ayedo graffiti on the wall with the team. It was my first time doing graffiti – and it was a lot of fun. It was warm, we were in good spirits, I was handed a cold drink in between, and afterwards, we all went to eat pasta in the city. It was one of those days that stick with you – because everything just fit.

Now it’s back to school for me. But I’m taking with me not only new skills and insights but also the feeling of what good teamwork can feel like. At ayedo, I wasn’t treated like a student just getting a glimpse – but like part of the whole. I learned how real projects run, how to take responsibility, and that work can be really fun if the environment is right.

ayedo is a place where you feel welcome, no matter how young you are or how much experience you have. I can recommend an internship there to anyone interested in media, IT, or creative work – and who wants to really get involved. The company invests heavily in cutting-edge cloud technologies and focuses on true digital sovereignty. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
