Polycrate API 0.11.27 released: Pod Status, DataSource & SLO Dashboard

Polycrate API 0.11.27 is a major feature release focusing on K8sApp pod status tracking, DataSource integration, and UI modernizations.

K8sApp Pod Status Tracking

The operator now sends real-time pod health data for K8sApps:

• Aggregated Metrics: Total, Ready, Available, Unavailable Pods
• Container Restarts: Sum of all restarts
• Pod Details: JSON with detailed pod information
• Redeploy Detection: Via Pod UID and Owner UID

The data is used during reconciliation for automatic downtime detection.

Requirement: Polycrate CLI 0.29.16+

DataSource for External Feeds

New ManagedObject for external data sources:

• RSS/Atom Feeds
• JSON APIs
• Status Pages (Statuspage.io)

With automatic polling, content caching, and error handling.

Dashboard SLO Redesign

The dashboard has been simplified:

• Focused SLO/SLA Overview Widget
• Overall Availability and Error Budget Health
• Aggregated view across all scopes

UI Modernizations

• Create/Edit Drawer Migration: All forms now as drawers
• Notes Widget: API-based with filtering
• Action Run Widget: For Workspace/K8sApp details
• Operator Installation Box: In Workspace detail

Bugfixes

• K8sApp name is now correctly transmitted (no more “Unnamed”)
• K8sApp Flapping Detection against alert storms
• Downtime Start Notification race condition fixed
• JavaScript cache/localStorage cleanup
